Make A Difference
Even if chess is not your strong suit, you can still have a good time. As the club grows, the possibility of what occurs within the club grows alongside it. The president will host different events the are surrounded by chess and other events that may have nothing to do with chess. The overall goal for the club is to help build a community to make a better college experience for everyone. |
Insight
MeetingsThursdays are typically for random games or just a time to hangout. Actual Chess Club meetings will be once every month at least. Meetings are for affairs of the club to cast votes, figure out events, and any other necessary requirements.

Joining Joining the club is fairly simple and easy. You can be well experience or have no experience at all. The club can teach chess to new members if wanted or you can find other activities within the club without ever knowing what a rook is. As long as you can make friends and find benefits, we welcome the growth.

FutureThe Chess Club of course has aspirations! While home field tournaments will be monthly, the club will eventually try to expand its wings into county, city, and/or state level tournaments. For higher level chess players, this is something to look forward to. The different tournaments that this Chess Club will be participating in is still TBD (To Be Determined).
